How does card delivery work?
Every Greetopia card needs a delivery method. You can schedule it to deliver automatically on a date you pick, or hold it and send it yourself when you are ready. This page explains both options and when to use each.
What are the ways I can deliver a card?
Two options. "Schedule a date" delivers the card automatically at a time you pick. "I'll send it myself" holds the card until you press a Send now button.
Manual is useful when you want to wait for everyone to sign before sending, or when you do not know the exact date yet.
How do I pick a delivery date?
On the setup page, choose "Schedule a date" and pick the date and time. You set the timezone the time is measured in, so a 9am delivery lands at 9am in the zone you chose. We deliver within a few minutes of the scheduled time.
What happens if I choose "I'll send it myself"?
The card is saved with no scheduled delivery. On the card page and in your My Greetings dashboard it shows as "Ready to send" with a Send now button. Press it whenever you are ready and the card goes out right away.
Can I switch from scheduled to manual after the fact?
Yes. Open the card and change the delivery mode from Card Info. Switching to manual clears the scheduled date. Switching back to scheduled asks you for a new date.
Can I send a scheduled card early?
Yes. Switch the delivery mode to "I'll send it myself" and the Send now button appears immediately. That lets you push a card out ahead of its scheduled time without waiting.
What does the recipient see when the card is delivered?
They get an email with a link. Opening the link shows the card in their browser: the template, every signature, and any music, photos, or voice notes people added. They do not need an account to view it.
What if the recipient never opens the card?
It stays waiting at its link. Free cards stay accessible for 90 days after delivery, and upgraded cards stay forever, so the recipient can open it whenever they like within that window.
Can I recall a delivered card?
No. Once it is delivered, the card is with the recipient. You can delete the card, which removes their access, but there is no "un-deliver" step. If timing matters, use manual delivery so you control the exact moment it goes out.
